- Have a compelling title and a clear objective in seeking employment
- Use standard fonts/typefaces for the entire resume
- While the recommended resume length is 1-page short, the rule of thumb is that resumes “should be long enough to sell you properly without overstating your accomplishments.”
- Check for typos and grammatical mistakes
